Born to Perform

Singer/songwriter Lecretia Williams-Brandon's music infuses traditional and contemporary gospel into a soulful sound of harmonies. Her music creates a sense of peace that reaches deep down into your core.  Lecretia's new single, He’s Got It All in Control, lays the foundation of how her faith in God works. Born and raised in Texas in a Pentecostal home, Lecretia was introduced to music at an early age. Her mother and father were quartet singers who traveled throughout the United States spreading God’s word through song.  Along with her brother, Pastor Myron Williams Sr., her late sister, Michelle Williams-Hatten, and sister in love, Evangelist Kimberly Williams, Lecretia finds pleasure in making a joyful noise unto the Lord.  She follows the leading of God as she goes forth and proclaim the gospel through singing as well preaching. Lecretia's passion for writing began after the passing of her sister, Michelle, in 2020. She didn't lose her zeal for God as the pandemic struck the world because she knew that God had everything in control.

Lecretia always had a desire to record her own songs but never thought she would be doing it without her family. Now she is embracing the idea of singing alone without her brother and sisters because she understands that this is what God wants her to do.
